AI training decision guide • UK

Which AI training is right for you?

Choose what matters most: who needs to learn, which tools they use or the learning outcome you need. A short course, a managed business programme and a recognised qualification solve different problems. The questionnaire below identifies the most relevant path rather than ranking every provider in the same order.

AI Build Group provides AI training and operates AI Build Academy. This is our own decision tool, not an independent test of the industry. For a full comparison of providers, read our seven-provider comparison article.

Asketta starts by asking which decision matters most, then asks one relevant follow-up. Each approved answer has a distinct SEO page with its own H1, H2 sections and canonical URL.

The personalised Asketta questionnaire is not published yet. In the meantime, use our training decision guide to compare options, or browse courses and their published syllabuses.

Explore the three questions before choosing

Each topic explains why the answer matters and what buyers should verify. The supporting pages address distinct questions rather than repeating the full seven-provider comparison.

Who needs AI training: an individual or a UK business team?

The number of learners changes the most useful format. Individuals can compare self-paced courses and scheduled public classes, while an organisation rolling out AI across teams needs common data rules, role-based exercises and a way to monitor adoption.

Which AI tool should UK employees learn: ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot?

Training works best when the exercises match the tools employees can actually use. ChatGPT Business, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Claude and other systems differ in permissions, connected data and workflows. Decide whether to teach the licensed tool or start with cross-platform AI literacy.

What result do you need from AI training: adoption, certification or an apprenticeship?

AI training suppliers are not interchangeable. Some teach everyday workplace practice, others provide professional learning libraries, technical vendor exams or apprenticeship programmes. The correct provider depends on the evidence and capability your organisation wants to retain.

How should you assess a training recommendation?

Check that the proposed course teaches a task you need, uses software your organisation approves and explains privacy and human review. Verify current syllabus, prerequisites, delivery, price and whether its award is a completion badge, an assessed certificate or a recognised qualification. A recommendation is a starting point for procurement, not proof that every provider has been independently tested.
